Last Friday all the children from Second class up went to Thurles for a GAA blitz. When we got there we were split up into groups and put into mixed teams with other schools. We played three matches, one of which was on the main pitch in Semple Stadium. We all got our photos taken under the tunnel in the field and got to see the stadium. Three of us played football and everyone else played hurling. It was a wonderful experience and it will be treasured for years to come. On the way home, we all got ice-pops. Thanks to Tipperary GAA for the wonderful day.
