What is Genius Hour?
Genius Hour is a project in the classroom , in which pupils are given time in school to explore their own passions. It allows pupils a choice in what they want to learn.
There are three main parts to Genius Hour.
Pupils will have to come up with a driving question for their genius hour project.. A question that is not easily answered by googling. The pupils will have to research this question and plan what they are going to create. This could be anything from creating a new game, writing a book or composing a new piece of music. The possibilities are endless.!
Once finished the pupils will then present their projects to the to the class and other pupils in the school. Finally they will hold a showcase where pupils will display and present their work to parents, families and friends.
