Active Schools Week 2024
Active Walkway
Both the Junior and Senior Room completed a walkway everyday of Active Schools Week covering all part of the curriculum, maths, English , geography, Gaeilge and Art.
The Senior Room even completed one about themselves with a pupil fact walkway. There was one fact about each person in the class at different points on the walkway and we had to guess which fact was about which person.

PE Homework
We just had our PE homework for active school week ! No reading or writing!
Pupils v Parents
Parent joined us mid week for pupils vs parents . They took each other on in 5 activities, ending of course with a game of dodgeball. Pupils winning out!
Pupils v Teachers
We had our annual Pupils vs Teachers with an activity everyday.

Forestry Walk
The Senior Room went on a forestry walk during the week. Just 2 minutes over the road from our school. It ended in rain of course but we had a great time. We walked 6km and had our lunch in the forest. We will definitely make it an annual thing.
Soccer

We had the local soccer club up to do some drills and skills with us! Great fun!

On Friday of Active Schools Week we too part in #dancetakeover and we had dance workshop with Michelle.
